In 2018, major funding was also focused on the development of a “how to” video series to assist greyhound rescue groups in the US and around the World. Funding is offered annually for medical care for special-needs dogs served through Senior German Shepherd Rescue, Inc. The Thulani Program is a foster- based program for Shepherds coming from shelters across California. Due to age-limited life expectancies and medical needs the dogs are often not adoptable, and most are euthanized. The Thulani Program saves the dogs to find homes where they can live out their remaining life with love and care. In 2020, additional funding was provided for medical care. Multi-year Recipient

In 2020, Funding was provided for new enclosures for the increasing number of injured wildlife being cared for prior to release back into the wild.
