Valerie has always had a great passion for traveling, and in 1983 she discovered the wonders of cruising! Her interest in helping others organize their personal travel led her to become part of the Zoe's Cruises & Tours Team in 1993.

Since then, Valerie has escorted groups for Zoe's in the Caribbean, Alaska, South America, Europe and the South Pacific. It is hard for her to pick a favorite cruise, but Australia/New Zealand surely was one of the best for her. She has been most interested in "destination" cruises in the past few years and has learned a great deal about different cultures and world history through her experiences.

A former first-grade teacher, Valerie lives in Wisconsin. The winters there are cold, which makes traveling at that time very appealing. She has three grown children and is a very proud grandmother!

It also is a priority for Valerie to ensure that her passengers have smooth and memorable vacation experiences. She gets great pleasure from hearing their stories when they return!
