A native of Canada, Sue moved to Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from North Texas State University. After graduation, she spent six months working at Ma'agan Michael kibbutz, which is located in Israel between southern Mount Carmel and the Mediterranean Sea. Sue's successful completion of the ulpan was a positive, life changing experience that instilled in her an understanding of the meaning of "Am Achad" (one nation).
Sue returned to Texas to earn a Master's Degree in Communication Disorders before moving to Sacramento. For many years she enjoyed a professional career as a Speech-Language and Swallow Therapist specializing in rehabilitating adults recovering from traumatic brain injuries and other neurogenic conditions.
Sue is an accomplished musician as well as a talented gourd artist who donates her time and talents to various non-profit organizations. Because she enjoys fostering creativity in children, Sue has actively participated in Chalk-it-Up Sacramento for the past 15 years. Currently, her creative endeavor is a music CD for children. Inspiration comes from a four year old muse, her son Noah.
Since November 2006, Sue has been the receptionist at Zoe's Cruises & Tours.
