Krestine has over 20 years experience in the science and high-tech fields as a technical communicator. As an independent IT consultant, she worked as a technical lead with government entities and major high-tech firms. For the past two years, Krestine has been as an Information Systems Analyst with the State of California working on a state-wide multi billion dollar project to enhance data retrieval and dissemination.

Krestine earned a B.A. degree in Business Administration, concentration in Computer Information Systems in 1989. She also earned a B.A. degree in English and a postgraduate certificate in writing in 1992, and completed course work for an M.A. degree in English, focusing on information design in 1994.

After meeting Zoe in 1999, Krestine was introduced to a new field in which to apply her buisness background and IT expertise: leisure travel. Her expertise proved invaluable when she facilitated transitioning many manual business processes into a computer-based infrastructure. Krestine also managed the ZoesCruises.com Web site rebuild in 2003 and continues to maintain the Web site and create destination marketing flyers.

During the past eight years, Krestine has gained extensive first hand experience in all facets of the travel industry and thoroughly enjoys serving passengers as a knowledgeable travel agent as well as performing tasks as an IT professional.
