Doris & Helmut were born in Stettin, Germany and immigrated to the US in 1956. Helmut’s professional training was as a Medical Technologist with Hospitals in Michigan and California. Helmut completed his medical career as Manager of Kaiser Hospital’s Laboratories in Sacramento in 1993.

Doris and Helmut make their home in Carmichael and have raised 3 wonderful children who still reside in the area with their families.

Helmut and Doris joined Zoe's Cruises & Tours 12 years ago. They have extensive knowledge of cruise destinations and have explored all continents in the world, except the Antarctic. In addition, Helmut is a Certified Specialist on Switzerland and has extensive expertise in European Land Tours and River Cruises in Europe.

Their passion is to share the thrill of discovering the cultural diversities that travel offers. Helmut and Doris have shared more than 40 cruises with passengers while at Zoe’s Cruises and Tours and plan to be associated with Zoe’s Cruises & Tours as long as Zoe and the good Lord allows!
